 Thank you, everyone
« Thread Started on Feb 2, 2004, 11:05pm »

3rd of March, 2001.

This is when i posted my very first post on the Gamewinners forum after reading through a bit of a story posted by MasterVivi2007. My first post including my character profile for Ayame Makoto and the request for other writers to join. It didn't take long before a couple like Rivermaya had joined. The very first one to post a part of the story was Neclordsword. I remember Sheila's first scene as if I only read it yesterday.

As the story progressed, more writers joined. After a lot of writing and finishing the first story, baptised Till the Dawn of Time, the writers couldn't get enough and continued a second story that showed to be more emotional than the first. Sins of the Past, as its predecessor, became a great success.

A new generation was born for the third story. It took us a while to develop it properly, a lot of planning came along before the actual writing, and sometimes we were troubled by serious writer's blocks or godly-situations, but the Till the Dawn of Time Alliance pulled through.

And now... now that the third story has been completed there is a mixed feeling of happyness and sad in my heart. I know our trilogy has come to and end but... I will never forget the amazing times we shared together. The times my heatr jumped out of my chest when i saw there were 5 replies again to the story, the endless plot twists we had, the lovely support of everyone, even artwork has been created... All of it contributed to making these past three years three to remember for the rest of our lives.

I know our roads don't part here, not by the least, but I will always carry the Dawn Saga closest to my heart because it is where I made the most amazing friends in the world.

Bluey, Coco, Darien Wanderer, Hawk, Excalibur, Hangover, Neclord, Reaper, Rivermaya, Shadow, Seph & Kuja fan, Telano, and all those who have contributed by reading and commenting:
THANK YOU

I just have to say it was nothing less than an honor to work with some of you guys. After reading Dawn and Sins, the chance to jump in on Part III was a no-brainer, and I don't regret it for a day.

There is not a person here who isn't a talented writer, and it has shown throughout the time we have spent on this story. While I didn't get to know all the writers from the earlier novels, getting to know everybody who particpated in this story was wonderful; it was if I was sucked into a giant family.

Great thanks for allowing me to contribute to the final chapter of this trilogy. It's good to know that many authors, no matter where on this globe, can work together and create a story that will easily be remembered by all who come across it.

This is the first story I joined on GameWinners (from the beginning) that actually went on to completion. It's a good feeling to see something like this be complete, although I know I'll miss writing for it. Hopefully this same camaraderie can continue in hopes of making this new story a success. While it'll never replace this trilogy, perhaps this range of talent can give it a 'partner' it can be proud of.

Congrats to the Alliance, from Parts I-III, for a completed trilogy, and the best of luck for completing another three! (Not too pre-emptive, is it? ;))

Through I may have come in the latter half of the story; the experience that it gave me is something that I cannot really forget. Before I came into writing part of the story I thought that I was not too great of a writer, how sadly I was mistaken. I still remember the first post I had in the story, the little blurb that I wrote. As the story continued my writing style improved. Due to my contrabutions to the story I find that I'm a much better writer than I was when I first started into the story.

Through the trilogy is over, through all good things come to an end some time, another adventure begins with another group. With this I hope to meet more people, and be exposed to more writers. I feel that the story not only brings people to do a common goal but creates a web of friends that spans that whole globe, even though some of us have never seen eachother's faces but at the same time feel like someone who you've known your whole life.

As a writer who has been involved since the beginning, this has been one of the most fun hobbies I've had this past three years. I remember when Dawn first started, I read the first few posts in anticipation of the introduction of my character, Colin. When he was finally introduced, I wrote my first post. Ever since then, It has been a pleasure to write with such talented authors.
I have written in similar stories before, but they've always lacked the cohesiveness of Dawn, because everyone tried to take their own character and run with it. But we were able to honor each other's post and trust the other author's to do with what they thought was best. With the exception of one, ahem, god-like character, we have not had that problem. And that is what made this story so wonderful.
For those of you who have also been around since the beginning, you'll know that I like to keep things fresh and interesting by throwing in a plot twist or two ;)
I didn't get to do any on part three, also, I didn't contribute to part three as much as I would have liked, so I felt like I should provide a long ending that provided new plot twists, as well as tie everything together.
It truly has been an honor, and I hope this new story can be as good (but also different) as the ones we have written.

Thanks everyone for your contribution

Well, I've only really helped for half the time (second half of TtDoT and all of SotP), but it was an amazing experience. I can definately see how my writing has improved, and I'm sure everyone else can too. Like Hangover said, this RP is definately different. In most RPs, you only control your own char, but with these, we're pretty much free, and we trust each other to keep our chars in character. That...is amazing. Truly, utterly amazing. I cannot express my thanks to YOU, Ayame. You brought us all together.

*blushing so hard right now* Thank you for your many thanks, I have to say i am proud that I brought us together, but it touches me a lot more that everyone stayed together. There are a lot of RPGs on forums that never even get finished because half the people want to kill eahcother for they are having ego trips, but that didn't happen with us. We all stuck together, we created one hell of a trilogy and look at us now, still continuing to write , with new people ready for new experiences.

Still, no matter what, the Dawn Saga and its writers will always be closest to my heart

Wow, I can't believe I completely missed this topic...
Anyway, all I want to say is that there wasn't a minute of being part of this series that I didn't enjoy, even the times where I didn't write much and just hung around. I don't know what my internet life would be like without knowing you all.
*sniff* Okay, there's my sappy side.
